Job summary

NEXUS PRO SERVICES in Guwahati is seeking a Lead Database Engineer to drive the design, development and maintenance of company databases. You will ensure performance, security and data integrity while guiding junior team members.

Collaborate with Product, Digital Factory, SRE and Operations teams to align requirements with scalable solutions. The role requires 1–4 years of experience and a strong background in SQL, NoSQL and cloud database services.

Qualifications

• B Tech in Computer Science or related discipline preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Experience with database security, backup, and recovery procedures.
• Familiarity with Cloud Database services (AWS RDS, GCP Cloud SQL, YugaByteDB).
• Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (Aerospike, Cassandra, Couchbase).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
