Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Gurgaon and Mumbai seeks a Lead Data Scientist to head AI/ML initiatives, architect scalable models, and mentor teams. Lead deployments of LLMs, CV and generative AI solutions on Azure, ensuring production-grade reliability and governance.

You will drive agentic AI programs, oversee MLOps pipelines, and collaborate with business partners to translate challenges into AI opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data science, ML, or AI, with leadership experience.
• Proficiency in Python and DL libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Extensive experience in CV, generative AI, and NLP.
• Deep knowledge of agentic AI principles and orchestration tools (LangChain, Semantic Kernel).
• Azure cloud experience: deploying models via Azure ML and data handling with Azure services.
• Strong software engineering practices: version control, testing, CI/CD for ML (MLOps).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; able to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Proven track record delivering AI projects to production and scaling them.
