Job summary

Lead Data Engineer

We are currently seeking a Lead Data Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Data Engineering Lead – Snowflake & Azure Data Factory Ingestion Platform

• Lead the design, development, and modernization of enterprise data ingestion capabilities using Azure Data Factory and Snowflake, driving the migration from legacy ETL and ingestion frameworks to scalable, cloud-native solutions.
• Manage and mentor an offshore team of data engineers, overseeing work prioritization, sprint planning, code quality, delivery execution, and operational support.
• Serve as the primary client-facing technical lead, translating business requirements into ingestion architectures, engineering roadmaps, and delivery plans while managing stakeholder expectations.
• Define and implement reusable, metadata-driven ingestion frameworks leveraging ADF, Snowflake, and automation patterns to accelerate source onboarding, improve reliability, and reduce technical debt.
• Collaborate with architects, platform engineers, and business stakeholders to establish ingestion standards, orchestration patterns, data quality controls, CI/CD processes, monitoring, lineage, and governance practices.

• Azure Data Factory (ADF), Snowflake, SQL, Python, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure DevOps, CI/CD, ETL/ELT design, Change Data Capture (CDC), API-based integrations, metadata-driven frameworks, data modeling, monitoring/observability, and experience migrating legacy data integration platforms to modern cloud architectures.
