Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Lead for Corporate Financial Planning & Analytics to partner with senior stakeholders across corporate finance, business finance and controllership. The role focuses on developing and driving financial strategies, operating plans, and analytics to enable data-driven decisions.

You will be an SME in Finance Planning & Analytics, own budgets and forecasts, and lead scenario planning with executive presence and strong storytelling abilities.

Qualifications

• Qualified with professional accounting/finance credentials (MBA/CA/CFA).
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and storytelling with executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with corporate, business finance and controllership teams to drive P&L analysis, SG&A governance, balance sheet, and cash metrics.
• Develop and present operating plans, budgets and forecasts with clear narratives.
• Provide MIS and variance analysis with commentary to support decision-making.
• Lead senior stakeholders through scenario analysis and what-if studies on financial impacts.

This position requires excellent analytical, management & strategic thinking skills and ability to partner with senior stakeholders in multiple functions to develop and drive financial strategies and newer analytics.

Responsibilities

• Key responsibility will be to work with different teams within corporate finance, business finance, controllership etc. to stich the story together and draw out key insights/ drive new analytics around different areas of P&L reporting, SG&A spends governance, Balance sheet, Sales metrics, cash etc
• Think out of the box and be an ace in storytelling and executive presence.
• To be able to do above its important this person to be an SME in Finance Planning and Analytics / management reporting.
• Experience in preparation and review of Operating Plan/budgets and forecasts/outlook
• Management reporting (MIS reports, Revenue and Cost Analysis, Variance Analysis) with detailed commentary and analysis
• Review business performance and support decision making by providing stakeholders with meaningful insights and visibility on business performance on regular basis.
• Generate insights into business performance to help drive improved financial results and facilitate fact-based decision making.
• Drive discussions with senior stake holders to extract insights, understand business on the ground, act as a fact-based challenger, and then build a crisp narrative.
• Should have experience in scenario building, competition analysis, what if analysis to understand the financial impacts of various operational decisions.

• Certified Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, Chartered Financial Analyst, or an MBA
