Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
• 8–12 years in panel design with at least 3 years in a lead role.
• Hands-on experience with MCC, PCC, and control panels.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of MCC, PCC, and control panels per project requirements.
• Review electrical schematics, GA drawings, and BOMs for accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with IEC/IS standards and internal processes.
• Coordinate with production, procurement and quality teams.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and specialists.
• Interact with clients for design approvals and clarifications.
• Drive cost optimization and design standardization across projects.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities.

Purpose of the Role

The Lead Engineer will be responsible for leading the design and engineering of MCC, PCC, and control panels. The role involves ensuring design quality, adherence to standards, and timely delivery while guiding a team of engineers.

• Lead design of MCC, PCC, and control panels as per project requirements
• Review electrical schematics, GA drawings, and BOMs
• Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, IEEE standards
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and quality teams
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers
• Interact with clients for design approvals and clarifications
• Drive cost optimization and design standardization
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning
