Job summary

Capgemini Invent is seeking a senior pharma manufacturing digitalization leader to drive transformation across MES/eBR, LIMS, and QMS. The role requires consulting leadership, cross-site coordination, and executive-level stakeholder engagement.

You will shape digital roadmaps, develop PoVs, and guide complex programs from discovery workshops to go-live, with travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 10–14 years of Pharma/Life Sciences manufacturing digitalization with consulting delivery leadership.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s in engineering/technology/industrial/Pharma/Chemical or related fields and MBA or equivalent qualification.
• Experience across at least two of MES/eBR, LIMS, or eQMS/QMS with integration/data platform exposure; Pharma MES experience is a plus.
• Exposure to ISA-95/ISA-88, MESA standards, manufacturing data contextualization, IIoT/historian integrations.
• AI enablement experience: delivered/led 1–2 analytics/AI initiatives (PoC/MVP/scale) in manufacturing/quality contexts.

Your Role

• Shape Pharma smart manufacturing opportunities by leading discovery workshops to frame problem statements, define value cases, build target architectures, and create digital transformation roadmaps for pharma manufacturing.
• Own solutioning, proposals, and executive-ready responses including storyboarding, estimation, delivery approach, assumptions, risks, dependencies, pricing inputs and develop reusable PoVs/demos.
• Act as a trusted advisor to CXO and plant leadership by bringing strong consulting capabilities, and proven delivery methodologies to influence decision-making through executive communication and structured recommendations.
• Lead multi-workstream delivery across sites by managing stakeholders, vendors, distributed teams, governance, milestones, quality gates, delivery planning, and value realization in a sell-deliver-sell model.
• Drive Pharma digital transformation across MES/eBR, LIMS, QMS, IT/OT, data, and AI covering paperless manufacturing, eMBR/eBR, recipe and batch execution, weigh and dispense, materials and genealogy, QC lab digitization, deviations, CAPA, change control, audit-ready workflows, historian/SCADA integrations, traceability, and AI/advanced analytics use cases.

Your Profile

• 10 to 14 years of experience in Pharma/Life Sciences manufacturing digitalization with consulting delivery leadership.
• Bachelor’s/master’s in engineering/technology/industrial/Pharma/Chemical or related fields and MBA or an equivalent qualification from a top tier/reputed institute.
• Strong experience across at least two of MES/eBR, LIMS, or eQMS/QMS, with integration/data platform exposure; Pharma MES experience (Werum PAS-X, PharmaSuite, Opcenter Pharma) is a plus.
• Exposure to ISA-95/ISA-88, MESA standards, manufacturing data contextualization, IIoT/historian integrations will be adding value.
• AI enablement experience: delivered/led 1-2 analytics/AI initiatives (PoC/MVP/scale) in manufacturing/quality contexts. Work Model Hybrid with site travel during key phases (workshops/go-live/hypercare); travel typically 10-40%.
