Job summary

Birlasoft Limited is seeking an experienced SAP GTS Lead to drive SAP GTS engagements across multiple locations including Bangalore. The role requires 8+ years of SAP consulting experience with strong GTS expertise and hands-on implementation experience across trade compliance and SCM processes.

The successful candidate will manage end-to-end implementations, integrate with SAP S/4HANA/ECC and related modules, and mentor teams to deliver compliant, efficient cross-border trade solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years SAP consulting with strong SAP GTS expertise.
• Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP GTS implementations.
• Hands-on in Compliance Management, SPL Screening, Export/License Mgmt, Customs, Import/Export processing.
• Experience in Preference, Intrastat/Extrastat, Trade Compliance & Risk.
• SCM knowledge: Procurement, OTC, P2P, Warehouse, Transportation, International Trade.
• Integration with SAP S/4HANA/ECC and MM/SD/EWM/TM/Logistics Execution.
• Experience with IDOCs, interfaces, master data, and document flow in GTS.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP GTS initiatives and client engagements.
• Oversee end-to-end GTS implementations and support.
• Collaborate with SCM teams on procurement, logistics, and cross-border processes.
• Interface with S/4HANA/ECC modules (MM, SD, EWM, TM).
• Ensure compliance and risk management across trade activities.
