Sabre Corporation in Kraków is seeking a Lead Cloud Engineer to guide a cloud-native platform built on GKE and GCP. You will provide technical leadership, create runbooks, and help implement reliable SOPs while mentoring team members.

You will collaborate with Product, SRE, and support teams to roll out features, manage GKE addons, ensure security and observability, and uphold internal SLA/SLOs. Hybrid work is offered along with comprehensive enterprise benefits.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of Kubernetes Platform experience.
• 3-4 years of scripting/automation (Python/Shell).
• 2-3 years of Terraform experience.

Responsibilities

• Build & manage container platform with GKE on GCP.

Technology Engineering team is looking for a talented Lead Cloud Engineer As a team lead, you will assume additional responsibilities, including providing technical leadership to the team, creating comprehensive runbooks, and developing reliability Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This role requires you to guide and mentor team members, ensuring the implementation of best practices in technical operations.

What will you achieve?

• Build & manage container platform with GKE on GCP
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders - Product, other SRE and support teams, to rollout new features
• Manage lifecycle of GKE addons - Anthos Service Mesh, security tools, instrumentation, observability
• Implementing best practices, to meet internal SLA/SLO’s of the platform

Must Have skills:

• 3-4 years of experience in Kubernetes Platform

• Prior experience handling large scale Kubernetes platform
