Job summary

EPAM Systems in Bengaluru is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to bridge business requirements with technical solutions across squads and tribes. You will translate organizational needs into BRD/FRD documents and guide product ownership within payment operations and data management domains.

You will work with Technical Product Owners and cross-functional teams, evaluate feasibility, monitor market and regulatory changes, and help plan go-lives, readiness, and training.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of IT experience with BA, Agile, and PO foundations.
• Deep knowledge of Payment Operations, Data Management, and Vulnerability Management.
• Familiarity with user journey mapping frameworks and analytical approaches.
• Awareness of latency and throughput constraints in solution design.
• Capability in business readiness planning, gap analysis, and training handover.
• Proficiency in tracking delivery performance against value metrics and OKRs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME within platform domain and translate requirements into technical specs.
• Incorporate latency/throughput constraints when defining technical requirements.
• Scope problems, articulate value drivers, and identify opportunities for innovation.
• Monitor market conditions, regulatory changes, and tech trends affecting product relevance.
• Support investment proposals and evaluate feasibility of proposed solutions.
• Collaborate with Technical Product Owners and squads to show how solutions create value.
• Join workshops to secure buy-in from stakeholders and define hypotheses.
• Help build and prioritize the technical backlog with traceability.
• Spot roadblocks and develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
• Conduct business readiness assessments, go-live planning, and assist training/communication.
