Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Lead AVEVA E3D Designer to drive 3D modelling for complex industrial projects in Bengaluru, India. You will lead AVEVA E3D modelling, clash detection, and multidisciplinary coordination while ensuring data integrity across the Unified Engineering environment.

You will mentor junior designers and ensure designs meet constructability, operability, and lifecycle asset management requirements, with a focus on digital delivery workflows and integrated BIM

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in industrial plant projects.
• Advanced proficiency in AVEVA E3D modelling and drawing production.
• Experience with AVEVA Unified Engineering, AVEVA Engineering and integrated digital delivery workflows.
• Experience in multidisciplinary coordination, model reviews and clash detection.
• Familiarity with Navisworks, BIM workflows and Common Data Environments.
• Knowledge of rule-based design, catalogue/specification-driven modelling and model validation.
• Understanding of engineering data management and digital handover requirements.
• Exposure to point cloud/laser scan integration and brownfield projects is desirable.
• Knowledge of PML, automation tools or E3D customization is an advantage.
• Strong communication, leadership and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a discipline focal point for AVEVA E3D modelling activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and deliver high-quality 3D models, drawings, reports, and material take-offs in accordance with project schedules and quality requirements.
• Work within an integrated AVEVA Unified Engineering environment ensuring alignment between engineering data, specifications, and 3D models.
• Support implementation of digital engineering best practices, data-centric design workflows, and model governance procedures.
• Coordinate closely with engineers, project managers, information managers, and other design disciplines.
• Participate in model reviews, constructability reviews, design coordination workshops, and client review meetings.
• Perform clash detection, interference checking, and model quality assurance activities.
• Support model health checks, design validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior designers.
• Ensure designs consider constructability, operability, maintainability, accessibility, and lifecycle asset management requirements.
• Develop 3D structural steel models using AVEVA E3D

• Interpret structural drawings and specifications

Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Lead AVEVA E3D Designer to support the delivery of complex industrial, nuclear, power, oil & gas, process, and infrastructure projects.The Civil/Structural Designer will be responsible for developing and coordinating structural steel models, access platforms, stairways, ladders, equipment support structures, pipe racks, and miscellaneous steelwork while ensuring compliance with project standards, construction requirements, and multidisciplinary interface requirements.

• Navisworks Manage - Experience in model federation, clash detection and multidisciplinary coordination.
