Job summary

AtkinsRéalis India seeks an experienced Process Designer specializing in Intelligent P&ID development within AVEVA Unified Engineering for multidisciplinary projects. You will lead data-centric engineering workflows, govern databases, and mentor designers to ensure data accuracy and project standards across Process, Mechanical, Piping and Instrumentation disciplines.

Your Role

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead Intelligent P&ID delivery within AVEVA Unified Engineering, governing engineering databases, multidiscipline integration and data-centric engineering workflows.
• Working knowledge of AVEVA Unified Engineering architecture and workflows.
• Experience working within a data-centric engineering execution environment.
• Understanding of engineering data synchronization between AVEVA applications.
• Familiarity with project data governance and information management principles.
• Advanced proficiency in development and maintenance of intelligent PFDs, P&IDs, Utility Flow Diagrams, HVAC Schematics, and Engineering Flow Diagrams.
• Creation and management of intelligent engineering symbols and project-specific libraries.
• Configuration and maintenance of engineering attributes, metadata, and diagram relationships.
• Experience managing intelligent object linking and engineering data consistency.
• Ability to perform engineering data validation and quality checks within AVEVA Diagrams.
• Experience creating and managing engineering databases.
• Ability to manage equipment tags, line numbers, valves, instruments, and engineering attributes.
• Experience with Equipment Lists, Line Lists, Valve Registers, Instrument Indexes, and Tag Registers.
• Lead Intelligent P&ID and PFD development.
• Manage engineering databases; configure project standards.
• Coordinate Process, Mechanical, Piping and Instrumentation disciplines.
• Mentor designers.
• Perform quality reviews.
• Project setup, class hierarchy configuration, intelligent tagging, engineering data management, AVEVA E3D integration, reporting, validation and governance.

About You

• Minimum 10 years engineering design experience as process designer with experience in Intelligent P&ID.
• Diploma or Bachelor degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Process or related Engineering discipline.
