Job summary

Radiometer, part of Danaher’s global family, seeks a Lead Automation Engineer to ensure cloud-based applications on Azure are robust, secure, and scalable. Based in Bengaluru on-site, you will own verification, testing automation, and CI/CD practices.

You will design cloud automation, automate infrastructure provisioning, and drive quality through automated testing, using C#, .NET, PowerShell, Python, Terraform/Bicep, Git, and Azure DevOps.

The Lead Automation Engineer is responsible to ensure the quality, reliability, security, and performance of cloud-based applications deployed on Microsoft Azure. The role requires expertise in automated testing using C# and .NET, cloud validation, and Azure DevOps-driven quality engineering.

This position reports to the Engineering Manager and is part of the Digital solutions team supporting in Acute care diagnostics located in Bengaluru and will be on-site.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Design and Develop Cloud Automation Solutions to streamline cloud operations and engineering workflows.
• Automate Cloud Infrastructure to provision, configure, and manage cloud environments consistently and securely.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, deployment, and release processes to improve delivery speed and quality
• Develop and execute verification strategies, test plans, and test cases for cloud-hosted applications.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• 8+ years of software verification and test automation experience.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET, PowerShell, Python, and automation scripting to develop reusable automation solutions and cloud utilities.
• Strong experience of automation of cloud applications, preferably Azure.
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform/Bicep and automated provisioning of cloud infrastructure and environments.
• Expertise in Git, CI/CD pipelines, build and release automation, environment management, and deployment orchestration.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience in regulated industries such as Healthcare and Medical Devices is an added advantage.
• Experience with IoT or connected-device ecosystems is an advantage
