Job summary

Radiometer, part of Danaher’s Digital Solutions, is seeking an Engineering Manager in Bengaluru to lead design, development, and modernization of web-based and cloud applications. You will blend people leadership with technical ownership and report to the Engineering Manager.

You will mentor a high-performing software team, drive CI/CD and IaC practices, manage technical debt, and ensure scalable, secure cloud solutions on Azure.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years leading software engineering teams.
• Good expertise in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core / .NET 8+, ASP.NET MVC / Web API, Entity Framework, RESTful APIs, SQL Server.

• Own delivery commitments for product enhancements, maintenance releases, and modernization initiatives.

The Engineering Manager is responsible to lead the design, development, maintenance, and modernization of web-based and cloud applications. This role combines people leadership, technical leadership, and delivery ownership.

This position reports to the Engineering Manager and is part of the Digital solutions team supporting in Acute care diagnostics located in Bengaluru and will be on-site.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

The essential requirements of the job include:

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years leading software engineering teams.
• Good expertise in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core / .NET 8+, ASP.NET MVC / Web API, Entity Framework, RESTful APIs, SQL Server
• Good expertise in cloud technologies, preferably Azure. Experience with serverless functions, web API, cloud storage is an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of software design principles, design patterns, cloud patterns etc.
• Proven ability to lead design reviews, resolve complex technical challenges, implement CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code practices and guide engineering teams in building scalable, secure, and highly available .NET-based cloud solutions.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience in regulated industries such as Healthcare and Medical Devices is an added advantage.
• Experience with IoT or connected-device ecosystems is an advantage
