Job summary

WNS in India is seeking a capable OTC/Accounts Receivable professional to join our finance team in Pune. You will handle cash application, reconciliations, and AR processes while ensuring accurate postings and timely collections.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience in OTC/AR, strong Excel and Word skills, and fluent English. SAP knowledge is a plus, and you will collaborate with regional teams to meet reporting and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• B.Com or M.Com with commerce focus.
• Experience in OTC/AR is required.
• Experience in a multi-location company is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve customer disputes through effective communication.
• Perform cash application and account reconciliation activities.
• Address cash application issues and follow up with customers for missing documentation.
• Assist the OTC Management Team with ad-hoc tasks and special projects.
• Support compliance reporting and internal controls, and procedures.
• Collaborate with Regional and Global OTC teams to manage reporting and posting requirements.
• Prepare collection reports and management dashboards for controllers and leadership teams.

• Prepare collection reports, metrics, and management reports for controllers and leadership teams.
• Use effective collection techniques to maximize cash flow and minimize aged debt.
• Manage Accounts Receivable ledgers accurately and efficiently.
• Provide detailed explanations and supporting documentation for AR balances during internal and external audits.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word (Excel skills may be tested during recruitment).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
