Genpact is hiring a Lead Associate - Controllership - AP to strengthen the monthly close, AP processing, and policy controls in our hybrid India-based team. You will oversee accounting operations, ensure timely payables, and participate in internal projects with governance aligned to company procedures.

Qualifications

• Masters in Finance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the monthly and quarterly closing.
• Fulfill documentation and controlling responsibilities in the area.
• Participate in internal projects per procedures and manager requests.
• Maintain accounting policies and procedures documentation.
• Oversee accounting operations, control systems and processing.
• Ensure accounts payable are paid on time.
• Complete periodic bank reconciliations.
• Maintain the chart of accounts and filing system.
• Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions.

Responsibilities: Prepare the Monthly/Quarterly Closing; Fulfill documentation and controlling responsibilities within the given professional area; Take part in internal projects as per company procedures and manager requests; Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; Oversee the accounting operations, especially their control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures; Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner; Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed; Maintain the chart of accounts; Maintain an orderly accounting filing system; Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions.
