Job summary

Capgemini in India seeks a Video Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver next-generation video platforms across IPTV, OTT, and Video-on-Demand ecosystems. You will work on codecs, streaming protocols, and multimedia processing in a Linux environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Video Engineering, Telecom, Broadband, or streaming platform development.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Java.

As a Video Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering next-generation video platforms across IPTV, OTT, Broadcast TV, and Video-on-Demand ecosystems. Your Role

• 5-12 years of experience in Video Engineering, Telecom, Broadband, Multimedia Software Development.
• Strong programming expertise in C++, Java, and related technologies.
• Hands-on experience with IPTV, OTT, Broadcast TV, and Video Streaming platforms.
• Good understanding of video codecs:
  • H.264/AVC
  • H.265/HEVC
  • MPEG standards Experience with streaming protocols

• Strong exposure to Linux-based development environments.
