Job summary

Dar Al-Handasah (Shair and Partners) invites experienced architects to lead the development of architectural designs and construction drawings for projects in Pune. The role requires coordinating with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure concept to detail design delivery and adherence to QA/QC standards.

• Proficient in architectural and technical design development.
• Knowledge of international building codes, fire & life safety, accessibility, acoustics, façade systems, and material specs.
• Strong communication and coordination skills across disciplines.
• Excellent command of English.
• Ability to work in a demanding multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and development of architectural design and construction drawings.
• Analyze project requirements and participate in conceptual, schematic, and detailed design development.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and consultants.
• Review architectural and engineering alternatives, drawings, reports, and specifications.
• Ensure QA/QC procedures and company graphical standards are followed.
• Prepare complete architectural construction documentation and specifications.
• Coordinate façade design, building systems, accessibility, and fire & life safety requirements.
• Mentor and guide junior team members while ensuring technical excellence.

Job Responsibilities

• Additional knowledge of Rhino, Grasshopper, Dynamo, Lumion, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Navisworks will be an added advantage.

Education & Experience

• B.Arch. and/or M.Arch. from a reputed institution.
• 8–25 years of relevant professional experience with strong technical competency.
