Job summary

Appbay Technologies in Jaipur, India seeks an experienced Lead Appian Developer to lead design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade applications on the Appian Low-Code Platform.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on Appian development, solution architecture, team leadership, and client-facing project delivery experience. Strong problem-solving and mentoring abilities are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of overall software development experience with at least 5 years of hands-on Appian development experience.
• Strong expertise in Appian SAIL, Process Modeling, Expression Rules, Records, Reports, and Data Fabric.
• Extensive experience with Appian integration mechanisms, including REST APIs, Web Services, and Connected Systems.
• Strong understanding of Appian architecture, application performance optimization, and best practices.
• Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Proven experience in leading technical teams and mentoring developers.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Appian Senior Developer or Lead Developer Certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Appian-based applications.
• Design and implement complex workflows, records, reports, interfaces, and integrations using Appian SAIL.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead and mentor a team of Appian developers; conduct code reviews.
• Integrate Appian apps with external systems, APIs, databases, and third-party platforms.
• Ensure performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and production incidents.
