Role overview

We are looking for an experienced Lead Analytics / Insights Manager to drive end-to-end analytics and insight generation engagements. The role involves translating complex business problems into structured analytical frameworks, leveraging data to generate actionable insights, and presenting strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate should bring a strong combination of technical expertise in SQL and Python, business analytics, insight generation, reporting, and stakeholder management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end analytics and insight generation engagements, ensuring high-quality deliverables aligned with business objectives.
• Structure complex and ambiguous business problems into analytical frameworks, hypotheses, and actionable analysis plans.
• Drive advanced data analysis and translate findings into meaningful business insights and strategic recommendations.
• Develop executive-ready reports, presentations, and storyboards to support business decision-making.
• Analyse customer behaviour, segmentation, business performance, growth opportunities, and value drivers.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders and clients to understand business requirements and provide data-backed recommendations.
• Independently manage analytical deliverables, from data extraction and analysis to reporting and final presentation.
• Ensure data accuracy, analytical quality, and robustness of reports and presentations. Lead client engagements, stakeholder communication, and recurring project governance.
• Manage cross-functional teams and coordinate delivery across onshore and offshore stakeholders.

Mandatory skills & requirements

• 11–17 years of overall professional experience, with strong relevant experience in analytics, reporting, business intelligence, and insight generation.
• Strong hands-on expertise in SQL and Python.
• Experience in data extraction, manipulation, analysis, and interpretation.
• Strong understanding of business analytics and the ability to convert complex datasets into actionable business insights.
• Experience in independently managing end-to-end analytical engagements and delivering executive-level reports.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills. Ability to work in a client-facing environment and manage multiple analytical deliverables.

Good to have

Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. Experience in analytics consulting or client-facing analytics engagements. Exposure to managing distributed teams and cross-geography delivery.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Analytics, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related discipline. Strong preference for candidates from IITs, IIMs, or other premier academic institutions.
