Job summary

Sigmoid Analytics in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Manager Analytics to lead data analytics, BI reporting, and business insights across industries. You will guide client engagements, translate business needs into analytical solutions, and mentor a team of analysts and engineers.

The role requires 8–12 years in analytics, a BE and MBA or an equivalent advanced degree, and strong skills in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Python.

Qualifications

About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Manager Analytics who will work on a broad range of data analytics, data visualization and business intelligence problems across a variety of industries.

More specifically, you will:

• Engage with clients to understand their business context
• Understand business processes and map the complete process in visual formats.
• Translate business problems into analytical structures and solve using BI reports and dashboards
• Manage team/teams of data analysts to deliver solutions for multiple clients
• Collaborate with a team of data analysts and engineers to embed analytics into the business decision processes

Desired Skills & Competencies:

• Developing and enhancing algorithms and BI reports to solve business problems.
• Providing end-to-end analysis support across different industry domains and application areas.
• Generate data cuts/outputs according to agreed specifications (for example, survey data clean up, weighting data, recoding variables, creating custom tabular views, and running cross-tabulations)
• Good data understanding. Conducting quantitative analyses and interpreting results
• Proficient in visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, DOMO, QlikView.
• Proficient in MS SQL Database.
• Python knowledge is good to have.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good business acumen. Good in Storyboarding and Client Interaction Good communication

Education & Desired Experience
