Job summary

TechnipFMC is seeking an accounting professional to join the global accounting team. You will manage day-to-day transactions, bank reconciliations, and intercompany activity, ensuring timely close per a strict month-end schedule.

The role requires hands-on SAP experience, strong analytical ability, and a collaborative approach across AP/AR and shared services. Flexibility for 24x7 shifts is a plus in a multinational environment.

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of experience in finance or accounting, with 3-6 years in relevant roles.
  • Experience with SAP and Record to Report processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to work in 24x7 shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Book transactions and reconcile bank statements.
  • Record inter-company transactions and match receivables/payables.
  • Prepare schedules for P&L, balance sheet and accruals.
  • Maintain fixed assets register and perform depreciation/ transfers.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close.

Job Purpose

To work within the accounting team to meet and exceed customer SLAs / KPIs for the accounting services in compliance with the regulatory requirements for the global customers. In addition to ensuring daily & period end transactions, the respective accounting activities should be performed in a timely & efficient manner

Job Description
  • Book transactions and match bank statements with cash transactions
  • Book inter-company transactions and match IC receivables / payables
  • Prepare IC schedules for P&L, BS and accruals
  • Create and manage fixed assets register (perform depreciation, additions, transfer, disposal of assets)
  • Perform adjustments to fixed assets register
  • Perform Balance sheet reconciliations including Bank, intercompany, payroll & FA reconciliations
  • Respect and uphold month-end closing schedule
  • Record journal vouchers duly supported with backup
  • Co-ordination with AP & AR teams to ensure related accounts entries gets closed
  • Adherence to Internal control policies
  • Implementing and standardising processes to ensure maximum efficiencies
You are meant for this job if:
  • 5-8years of experience or CA Inter/ Post-Graduate/ Graduate in Finance with 3-6 years of experience
  • Candidate must be well versed with SAP
  • Record to Report expertise from outsourcing industry preferably Shared Services
  • Understanding of GL tools (IFS/SAP/Oracle, ARM, MS Office, Hyperion / BPC 10 etc.)
  • Analytical skills including collecting and researching data, designing work flow & procedures
  • Aptitude for process improvement, attention to detail, getting to root cause of issues
  • Enthusiastic, positive attitude to support a constructive working environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be flexible and able to work in 24x7 shifts
