Job summary

Study Abroad Life in Nagpur invites applications for a full-time on-site German Language Trainer to help students preparing for overseas study. You will plan and conduct interactive classes, develop lesson plans and materials, and assess progress with tests and assignments.

You will also advise on language requirements for universities abroad, coordinate with counseling staff to align training with study plans, and maintain attendance and performance records for accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong command of German language (spoken and written) at B2 level or higher.
• Experience in teaching or training in language institutes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Languages or Education; teaching certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with German language exams (Goethe, Telc, TestDaF) and study abroad requirements.

Role Description

The German Language Trainer will deliver high-quality, structured German language instruction to students preparing for study abroad programs, with a focus on practical communication and exam readiness. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and conducting interactive classroom sessions, developing lesson plans and learning materials, assessing learner progress through tests and assignments, and providing individual feedback and doubt-clearing support. The trainer will also guide students on language requirements for universities abroad, coordinate with counseling staff to align language training with students’ study plans, and maintain accurate records of attendance and performance. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nagpur.

Qualifications

• Strong command of German language (spoken and written), preferably at B2 level or higher; ability to explain grammar and vocabulary clearly.
• Experience in teaching or training, especially in language institutes or study abroad coaching centers, with skills in lesson planning and classroom management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners and adapt teaching methods to different proficiency levels.
• Familiarity with German language exams (e.g., Goethe, TestDaF, TELC) and university language requirements for study abroad applicants.
• Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Education, or a related field; formal certification in German language teaching is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a learner-focused approach; comfort working in a collaborative, student support–oriented environment.
• Basic digital literacy to use online tools for content sharing, progress tracking, and communication with students.
