Job Title: Assistant Manager / Manager – Land Development (International Projects)

Role Type: Full Time

Shift: Rotational (6AM to 3PM and 3PM to 12AM)

Role Overview:

This role leads and delivers complex international land development, infrastructure, and

roadway projects across North America, the UK, Europe, and ANZ markets. The position

involves end-to-end ownership of project planning, design review, quality assurance, and timely

delivery while ensuring compliance with global engineering standards. The role requires direct

client engagement, stakeholder coordination, and effective management of multidisciplinary

teams. It also focuses on mentoring engineers and drafters while driving best practices in Civil

3D–based design and project execution. The position may involve rotational shifts to align with

overseas clients and global project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage end-to-end land development, infrastructure, and roadway projects for North American, UK, or European clients.
  • Oversee project teams, ensuring deliverables meet quality, timeline, and client requirements.
  • Directly interact with international clients and multiple stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and resolve project issues.
  • Review and approve detailed construction and design plans, ensuring compliance with regional standards and regulations.
  • Mentor and train junior engineers and drafters on best practices, project standards, and software (primarily Civil 3D).
  • Coordinate with surveyors, architects, and other consultants for seamless project execution.
  • Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
  • Prepare and present project reports, status updates, and technical documentation to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, including drafting, design, grading, corridor modeling, and plan production.
  • Strong knowledge of land development processes: site grading, drainage, utilities, roadway alignments, and earthwork calculations.
  • Experience with stormwater management design (hydrology, hydraulics, detention/retention systems) as per international standards.
  • Familiarity with international codes/standards (AASHTO, UK DMRB, Eurocodes) for land development and roadway projects.
  • Ability to interpret and transform survey data, topographic maps, and engineering sketches into detailed construction drawings.
  • Experience preparing construction documents: site layout, profiles, cross-sections, and quantity take-offs.
  • Proficiency in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams (architects, MEP, surveyors,
  • Competence in clash detection, utility coordination, and constructability reviews.
  • Working knowledge of project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and document management systems.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes in
  • Working knowledge of other relevant CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and InfraWorks.
  • Knowledge of GIS platforms and integration with CAD workflows is an advantage.
  • Ability to conduct design reviews, value engineering, and provide technical guidance to team members.
Required Skills:
  • Proven experience (min. 8 years) in land development, infrastructure, and roadway projects for North American, UK, ANZ or European markets.
  • Excellent client management and communication skills, especially with international clients.
  • Ability to manage teams and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective stakeholder management and conflict resolution skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office and project management tools.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering with specialization in Transportation Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Urban/Regional Planning, or related discipline.
  • Certification in project management or Civil 3D (preferred).
  • Prior experience in a leadership or managerial role within an international consulting or engineering environment.
