Role Overview:

The AM- Mechanical Operations at Flatworld Solutions will lead the end-to-end delivery of mechanical engineering projects, ensuring technical excellence, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction. This role involves proactive support for sales and marketing initiatives, contributing to client acquisition and retention, and championing digital adoption through CAD automation. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in project management, mechanical design, business development, and global delivery collaboration. This position is suited for senior professionals with 1015 years of total experience, including at least 5 years in an engineering services environment, covering end-to-end management of mechanical engineering projectsNPD, SPM, heavy engineering, and sustenance—while also supporting business growth, digital transformation, and collaboration with global delivery partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead execution for NPD, SPM, heavy engineering, and sustenance projects.


• Develop project plans, allocate resources, track progress, and manage risks.


• Coordinate with internal teams and global delivery partners to achieve quality, cost, and schedule objectives.


• Review and approve all technical deliverables—designs, calculations, drawings, documentation.


• Ensure compliance with client requirements, industry standards, and internal SOPs.


• Guide teams on hydraulic/pneumatic systems, mechanical assemblies, and component selection.


• Drive troubleshooting and preventive/corrective actions for technical issues.


• Leverage CAD automation to improve design efficiency and minimize manual errors.


• Mentor, coach, and train engineering teams.


• Oversee onboarding, performance management, and team productivity.


• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and innovation.


• Serve as primary client liaison—set expectations, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction.


• Lead client meetings, technical reviews, and feedback sessions.


• Ensure timely billing, revenue recognition, and project profitability.


• Build long-term client relationships to drive repeat business.


• Collaborate with sales/marketing to develop proposals, present solutions, and support RFP/RFQ processes.


• Participate in client pitches, capability presentations, and technical clarifications.


• Provide engineering input for marketing collateral, case studies, and digital campaigns.


• Contribute to client retention strategies by sharing project success stories and technical differentiators.


• Manage relationships with global delivery partners.


• Review and approve partner deliverables and enforce SLAs.


• Drive process optimization, knowledge sharing, and adoption of CAD automation and digital tools.


• Stay current with industry trends and leverage best practices for efficiency and innovation.
