Job summary

IQVIA Laboratories in Bengaluru seeks a skilled professional to manage third-party labs for clinical trial projects. You will serve as the main liaison, ensuring sample processing, handling, and data delivery meet study requirements.

The role involves coordinating study startup, maintenance, and closeout, aligning test information and pricing, and supporting CAPA development with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or related field.
• 2–3 years in clinical trials/lab environment.
• Working knowledge of central laboratory operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and clinical systems.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between external laboratories and internal project teams to coordinate study-level activities.
• Manage study startup, maintenance, and closeout activities including Work Order creation and execution.
• Ensure accurate test information, pricing alignment, and metadata collection including test codes and specifications.
• Oversee sample processing and sample handling activities to ensure compliance with study protocols and timelines.
• Support data flow processes including data imports, query resolution, and collaboration with Data Management.
• Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and support CAPA development with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide ongoing study support and contribute to financial reconciliation and invoice processing.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Act as the primary liaison between external laboratories and internal project teams to coordinate study-level activities
• Manage study startup, maintenance, and closeout activities including Work Order creation and execution
• Ensure accurate test information, pricing alignment, and metadata collection including test codes and specifications

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences and/or related field preferred
• 2-3 years of experience in clinical trials/ hospital-funded research, project management or laboratory environment preferred
• Working knowledge of central laboratory operations including sample logistics, specimen storage, and data reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with centralized laboratory or clinical systems
• Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

• Demonstrated organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
