Job summary

Randstad in Mumbai seeks a Laboratory Inventory Officer for GMP lab operations. You will maintain chemical inventories, verify stock, and coordinate replenishment with admin. Responsibilities include labeling, logging, issuing chemicals to scientists, and ensuring proper disposal of expired items.

You will manage lab consumables and work closely with Kenvuer to ensure compliance with processes. Required education is a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Pharmacy (B.Sc.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Pharmacy (B.Sc., B.Phrm)
• 2-3 years experience working in GMP laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the inventory list of all laboratory chemicals & reagents.
• Verify and check stock of frequently used chemicals & order them as needed with help from admin.
• Enter all chemicals received in logbooks with expiry date labeling.
• Issue chemicals to scientists for daily use with proper labeling and registers.
• Verify and segregate expired chemicals and dispose of them appropriately.
• Manage inventory and issuance of laboratory consumables (Glassware, Filters, HPLC vials, Syringes, columns & accessories).
• Work with Kenvuer regularly to ensure process compliance.

Job Description

• 1. Education: Minimum Bachelors degree in Chemistry or Pharmacy (B.Sc., B. Pharm)
• 2. Experience: 2-3 years experience working in GMP laboratory. Prior experience in chemical or laboratory inventory management is preferred.
• 3. Maintain the inventory list of all laboratory chemicals & reagents.
• 4. Verify and Check stock of frequently used chemicals & order them as needed with help from admin.
• 5. Entry of all the chemicals received in logbooks, labelling the bottles as per SOP with expiry dates.
• 6. Issuance of chemicals to scientists for daily use, with appropriate labeling and entries in respective registers
• 7. Verifying & segregating the expired chemicals in well labelled and designated areas in labs.
• 8. Removal of all the expired chemicals from use with appropriate entries in registers & manage the disposal.
• 9. Manage inventory, issuance of laboratory consumables such as Glassware, Filters, HPLC vials, Syringes, HPLC/GC columns, accessories & any other lab consumables
• 10. The person responsible will work closely with Kenvuer on regular basis to ensure compliance to processes.
