Job summary

International Institute of Veterinary Education & Research is seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to support teaching and research activities. You will help maintain laboratory operations, assist faculty and students, and ensure safety and accuracy in diagnostic and research procedures.

The role involves handling lab instruments, maintaining records, and contributing to diverse veterinary science projects in a modern lab environment.

Qualifications

• Educational background as 10+2 from a recognized board.
• Diploma in Veterinary Laboratory Technology (DVLT) from LUVAS, Hisar.
• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) recognized by the Government of Haryana.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting laboratory experiments and diagnostic procedures under faculty guidance.
• Maintain, calibrate, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Prepare and organize laboratory materials, samples, and reagents for experiments and classes.
• Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of samples to maintain accuracy and safety.
• Maintain detailed records of laboratory work, including test results and equipment maintenance logs.
• Adhere to strict safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Support faculty and students during practical sessions and research activities.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
• Manage inventory and order laboratory supplies as needed.

Role Overview
