Job summary

Mirafra seeks an experienced Lab Technician to join its Automotive System Power Division. You will support engineering teams in setting up, maintaining, troubleshooting, and operating lab equipment and bench test setups.

The role requires hands-on PCB assembly, soldering, and rework, plus proficiency with oscilloscopes, DMMs, SMUs, and safety practices. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and meticulous documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of lab technician experience in electronics or related field.
• Bachelor/Master of Engineering in Electrical/Electronics/CS or equivalent.
• Hands-on PCB assembly, soldering and rework proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, troubleshoot, and operate lab equipment and bench test setups.
• Perform PCB assembly, soldering, and rework as required.
• Procure laboratory items and manage inventory.
• Read schematics and wiring diagrams; maintain safety and ESD practices.
• Maintain laboratory documentation and service records.

The successful candidate will work on supporting engineering teams in the setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of laboratory equipment and bench test setups.

Essential Functions

• Experience with PCB assembly, soldering, and rework.
• Setup, configure and maintain electronic test benches and laboratory equipment.
• Laboratory procurement and inventory management.
• Typical Equipment Experience Soldering/Rework Stations
• Oscilloscopes (Keysight, Tektronix, Rohde & Schwarz)
• Precision DMMs (Fluke, Keysight, Keithley)
• SMUs
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Good knowledge of laboratory safety and ESD practices.
• Maintain laboratory documentation and service records.
