Job summary

RennoWaste is seeking a hands-on production lab technician to join our innovative team in New Delhi, India. This role involves working directly with senior chemists to execute formulations and run daily lab reactions, significantly impacting the development of bio-based materials.

Job description

We are turning agricultural waste into the materials that industry runs on — cleanly, completely, and at scale. RennoWaste builds zero-waste biorefineries that extract every unit of value from crop residues, converting what was once burned in fields into high-performance industrial materials. We are a small, driven team moving fast from prototype to production — and every person who joins shapes what we build next.

About the role

This is a hands‑on production lab position. You will work directly alongside our senior chemists, executing formulations, running daily reactions, and maintaining the analytical discipline our process depends on. This is not a theoretical research role, you will own your batches from day one.

What you will do

• Formulation and batch work:
  • Follow formulation sheets precisely: weighing, mixing, and sequencing ingredients as specified
  • Prepare batches at bench and kilo‑lab scale per given SOPs
  • Record batch entries accurately: quantities, observations, deviations, and yield outcomes
  • Reproduce formulations consistently across multiple trial runs
• Daily lab reactions:
  • Conduct routine titrations, pH checks, viscosity measurements, and moisture analysis
  • Assist in condensation and cross‑linking reactions under controlled conditions
  • Support solvent extraction, filtration, and lignin fractionation operations
  • Maintain daily reaction logs and flag abnormal observations to the supervising chemist

What we are looking for

• Diploma, B.Sc, or M.Sc in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Polymer Science, or a related field
• Basic understanding of lab reactions and analytical testing
• Comfortable with standard lab equipment and safety procedures
• Accurate record‑keeping and SOP discipline
• Prior experience in resin, coating, biomass, or chemical processing labs is a plus — not a requirement
