Job summary

VMC Soft Technologies, Inc is seeking a senior L3 Network Engineer specialized in Juniper technologies to provide critical L3 operational support across enterprise LAN/WAN, campus, branch, and data center networks. You will configure and troubleshoot Juniper EX/QFX/MX/SRX devices, manage complex routing protocols, and drive network upgrades and incident resolutions.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EVPN‑VXLAN, and advanced routing while ensuring security

Responsibilities

Role Description

• Provide L3 operational support for enterprise LAN/WAN, campus, branch, and data center networks using Juniper technologies.
• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot Juniper EX, QFX, MX, and SRX platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex routing and switching issues and lead service restoration for critical incidents.
• Strong hands‑on experience with BGP, OSPF, IS‑IS, MPLS, VRRP, EVPN‑VXLAN, STP/RSTP/MSTP, Multicast, VLAN, LAG, and QoS.
• Execute network upgrades, migrations, hardware refreshes, software/code upgrades, and HA validation.
• Analyze packet captures, logs, routing tables, protocol adjacencies, interface statistics, and traffic flows for fault isolation.
• Perform RCA/CAPA for recurring and high‑impact network issues.
• Review network configurations for standards compliance, resiliency, performance, and security hardening.
• Provide technical leadership for complex changes, major incidents, and network optimization activities.
• Working knowledge of Wireless, NAC, DDI, SD‑WAN, Network Security, and Load Balancers is desirable.
