Job summary

Tata Communications is hiring for a Network Security Firewall L2 Engineer to be based in Hyderabad (Hitech City). The role requires working in a 24x7 support environment with work from office as mandatory.

Responsibilities include configuring and monitoring Firewalls, Proxy, WAF, and Email Security, collaborating with the SOC for threat monitoring and incident response, and maintaining security policy compliance across enterprise networks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in network security.
• BCA / B.Sc.-IT or BE/BTech/MCA with security experience.
• CEH / CHFI / GSEC / GMON / ITIL certification and OEM cert.

• Manage and support enterprise security infrastructure.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Firewalls, Proxy, WAF, and Email Security solutions.
• Perform security incident analysis and resolution.
• Work closely with SOC teams for threat monitoring and response.
• Implement security policies and maintain compliance standards.
• Ensure high availability and optimal performance of security platforms.

Qualification & Experience

BCA / B.Sc.-IT with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
OR
B.E. / B.Tech / MCA with relevant Network Security experience

Mandatory Certifications

CEH / CHFI / GSEC / GMON / ITIL
OEM Certification in at least one of the required security technologies

Required Technical Skills Network Security

• Strong hands-on experience in Network Security Operations and Implementation
• Expertise in Firewall Administration, Monitoring, and Troubleshooting
• Experience with SIEM and Security Operations
