Job summary

ESP Engineered is seeking a Fresher Level L1 Hardware Engineer in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra. This role involves basic testing of laptops and desktops, assisting in refurbishment, and performing installations of software.

L1 Hardware Engineer – Refurbishment (Fresher Level)

• Perform basic testing of laptops, desktops, and workstations
• Assist in cleaning, part replacement, and cosmetic refurbishment
• Install operating systems, drivers, and basic software
• Follow standard diagnostic checklists and SOPs
• Label, pack, and prepare systems for dispatch
• Maintain repair and testing records

L2 Hardware Engineer – Refurbishment (Experienced Level)

• Diagnose and repair hardware issues in laptops, desktops, and workstations
• Replace components such as RAM, SSD, HDD, keyboards, screens, batteries
• Perform BIOS configuration and firmware updates
• Run burn‑in and stress tests to ensure system stability
• Handle data wiping and OS imaging processes
• Guide L1 engineers and ensure quality standards

Skills Required (L2)

• Strong understanding of laptop and desktop architecture
• Hands‑on experience in hardware troubleshooting
• Knowledge of BIOS, drivers, and OS deployment
• Ability to work with diagnostic tools
• Diploma / Degree in IT, Electronics, or related field
• 2–4 years of relevant hardware repair experience
