Job summary

Orchestra Telecom Services in Bengaluru is seeking a senior engineer to design and implement LTE/NR PHY algorithms and procedures for next‑generation mobile networks. You will mentor high‑performance L1 teams, optimize L1 for latency, throughput and resource utilization, and collaborate with Radio/RF, L2 and fronthaul subsystems.

This role covers large scale 4G/5G L1 product development, sustenance and multi-variant deployments in vRAN/ORAN environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement LTE/NR PHY algorithms and procedures
• Review and mentor high performance L1 teams towards delivery excellence
• Optimize L1 for latency, throughput, and CPU/DSP/GPU/FPGA utilization
• Interface with Radio/RF, L2, and fronthaul subsystems
• Debug PHY issues using logs, IQ capture, and lab equipment
• Drive large scale 4G/5G L1 product development, sustenance and customer support programs involving multiple variants of eNodeBs/gNodeBs in various forms including vRAN/ORAN/custom
