Job summary

Whiteblue Cloud Services in Chennai, India, seeks an experienced Kubernetes Administrator with 8+ years in managing on-prem clusters. You will lead installation, configuration, and ongoing optimization of Kubernetes environments across hybrid setups.

Responsibilities include developing and deploying applications with Helm, automating provisioning with Ansible and shell scripts, and maintaining Linux systems. Knowledge of Python and Kubernetes certs are preferred assets.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Kubernetes Administration experience.
• Install, configure, maintain on-premises Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience with cloud-based Kubernetes is a plus.
• Develop and deploy applications using Helm charts.
• Automate provisioning and configuration with Ansible or similar tools.
• Write and maintain Shell scripts for automation and maintenance.
• Identify automation opportunities across deployment and operations.
• Work with open-source and cloud-native DevOps tools in hybrid environments.
• Maintain and optimize Linux systems.
• Knowledge of Python preferred.
• Certification in Kubernetes preferred.

Role & responsibilities

8 plus years of experience in Kubernetes Administration.

Install, configure, maintain, and optimize on-premises Kubernetes clusters including support and ongoing maintenance activities.

Experience of the above in cloud-based Kubernetes clusters would be an added advantage

Develop and deploy applications using Helm charts to manage Kubernetes workloads.

Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible or similar tools.

Write and maintain Shell scripts for automation, monitoring, and system maintenance tasks.

Identify and implement automation opportunities across deployment and operations workflows.

Work with both open-source and cloud-native DevOps tools to support hybrid environments.

Maintain and optimize Linux systems as part of infrastructure management.

Knowledge in Python is preferred.

Certification in Kubernetes is preferred
