Job summary

Unisys in Bengaluru is offering an early-career internship for students pursuing a Btech in CS/IS/AIML. You will participate in assigned work under supervision, develop knowledge in a discipline, and balance work with studies.

Responsibilities

• Develops knowledge and skills within a particular area or discipline.
• Performs work assignments under the direction of a supervisor, manager or senior-level associate.
• May work on an alternating or temporary basis, attending school or vocational training during periods of nonwork.
• Develops knowledge and skills within a technical discipline (i.e., technical support, software development, data analysis and reporting, networking. / infrastructure support, DevSecOps / cloud support).
• Assists with troubleshooting hardware or software issues.
• Helps resolve network connectivity problems or assist with system configurations.
• Supports IT with management of company devices.
• Writes basic code or scripts for internal tools and projects.
• Helps test software for bugs.
• Contributes to or participates in code reviews – learning version control and secure coding practices.
• Assists with data collection, cleaning and analysis.
• Creates reports, dashboards or visualizations (i.e., with Excel or PowerPoint).
• Assists with the installation and configuration of network hardware.
• Helps monitor network performance and identify potential issues.
• Assists with troubleshooting hardware, security and other concerns.
• Assists with automation of routine tasks using scripts or programming tools.
• Assists with cloud infrastructure management.
• Supports CI/CD pipelines and helping deploy applications.
• May help with general project coordination and progress tracking.
• May assist with research and compiling information for reports and presentations.
• May compile and organize information in support of general work group or project activity.
• Enable AI-driven knowledge aggregation and retrieval solutions
• Work with the teams for KCT improvement and feedback
• Derive ways to automate process for better Knowledge Management.

• Develops knowledge and skills within a technical discipline (i.e., technical support, software development, data analysis and reporting, networking. / infrastructure support, DevSecOps / cloud support). Typical duties may fall into an area as described below.

Technical Support

• Assisting with troubleshooting hardware or software issues.
• Helping resolve network connectivity problems or assisting with system configurations.
• Supporting IT with management of company devices.

Software Development

• Writing basic code or scrips for internal tools and projects.
• Helping test software for bugs.
• Contributing to or participating in code reviews – learning version control and secure coding practices.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Assisting with data collection, cleaning and analysis.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• Currently pursuing Btech in CS/IS/AIML
• Generally, less than 1 years’ experience in area of responsibility
