About the Role
AK & Partners is looking for a strong writer, editor and business-oriented professional to join the Founders’ Office & Internal Training Team.
The role sits at the intersection of legal and regulatory research, business communication, editorial work, internal training and external positioning. The candidate will work closely with founding partners and senior members of the firm to translate complex legal and regulatory developments into clear, accurate and commercially relevant content.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and analyse legal, regulatory and industry developments, particularly across fintech, banking and financial services.
- Prepare and manage a weekly regulatory newsletter for clients and stakeholders.
- Draft, edit and coordinate thought leadership articles, legal updates, regulatory alerts and publications.
- Translate complex regulatory developments into clear, concise and business-oriented content.
- Develop and maintain the firm's internal knowledge repository.
- Support the design and coordination of internal training programmes and knowledge materials.
- Coordinate with lawyers and practice leads to identify topics for publications, training and knowledge initiatives.
- Manage and develop professional social media content for the firm.
- Prepare presentations, social media creatives and other professional communication materials using Canva or equivalent tools.
- Support the firm's events, conferences, roundtables and external engagements.
- Coordinate with internal teams and senior leadership to capture discussions, developments and insights and convert them into high-quality written outputs.
- Represent the firm at relevant industry events, conferences, professional forums and stakeholder engagements, as required.
- Track developments across industry associations, chambers of commerce, policy organisations, regulators and business forums.
- Assist in building relationships and communication channels with relevant industry and professional organisations.

Requirements
- 1–4 years of relevant experience in legal writing, content editing, communications, research, business writing or a related field.
- Law degree strongly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong research, analytical and editorial abilities.
- Ability to simplify complex information while maintaining accuracy.
- Understanding of the legal, regulatory and business landscape.
- Ability to write for a business and professional audience.
- Experience managing professional social media platforms.
- Working knowledge of Canva or equivalent design tools.
- Strong stakeholder-management and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assignments from research through final output.
- Comfortable interacting with senior professionals and external stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel for conferences, events and professional engagements as required.
