Job Description

• Provide day to day support to GuestTek staff.
• Configure and maintain desktop, laptops and server systems.
• Set up and administer end user computing accounts.
• Assist with network maintenance.
• Participate in support and administration of the Avaya phone system.
• Provide IT-related training for end-users.
• Schedule projects to meet delivery dates and commitments.
• Keep abreast of technology advances in computer hardware and software.
• Other IT related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year technical diploma from a recognized institution or 3 years IT support experience.
• Experience troubleshooting a wide variety of computer software and hardware problems and implementing standard configurations.
• Support and troubleshooting of Windows 7-10 and Office 365 applications.
• Experience installing and troubleshooting Windows Server 2008 R2 - 2019.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.
• Experience working with Microsoft System Center.
• Experience troubleshooting and working with Microsoft Lync/Skype for Business.
• Experience troubleshooting network issues and working with Cisco and Palo Alto hardware.
• Management of servers using Hyper-V virtualization.
• Linux experience is an asset but not required.
• Administration and experience supporting Avaya VOIP telephony system.
• Salesforce experience is an asset but not required.
• Flexible, pro‑active approach and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, managing and resolving priorities.
• Prepared to maintain and enhance own personal and professional development.
