Job summary

Athneo Digital Innovations Pvt. Ltd. in Pune is seeking a Junior Software Developer with 3–5 years of Microsoft stack experience to build and enhance business‑critical applications using .NET technologies.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, follow Agile practices, and contribute to secure coding, testing, and deployment. Familiarity with GitHub Copilot and Azure AI is desirable as we integrate intelligent features. Onsite role in Kothrud, Pune with an immediate start preference.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3 - 5 years of experience in software development using Microsoft technologies.
• Proficiency in C# / .NET Core / ASP.NET, SQL Server, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Experience with Visual Studio and Git (GitHub/Azure Repos).
• Familiarity with Azure services (App Services, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps).
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy web and backend applications using the Microsoft stack (.NET Core/Framework, C#, SQL Server).
• Collaborate with analysts, QA, DevOps, and other developers to deliver high-quality software.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
• Integrate third-party APIs and Microsoft services, including Azure-based tools and services.
• Follow coding standards and secure coding, unit testing, and code reviews.
• Continuously improve application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Explore AI-enabled development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Azure OpenAI.

About the Role: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Developer with 3 - 5 years of experience in the Microsoft technology ecosystem. You will work on building and enhancing business-critical applications using .NET technologies, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with emerging AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Azure AI is highly desirable, as we continue to integrate intelligent features into our products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, test, and deploy web and backend applications using the Microsoft stack (.NET Core/Framework, C#, SQL Server, etc.).
2. Collaborate with business analysts, QA, DevOps, and other developers to deliver high-quality software.
3. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
4. Integrate third-party APIs and Microsoft services, including Azure-based tools and services.
5. Follow coding standards and best practices including secure coding, unit testing, and code reviews.

2. Experience with front-end frameworks like Blazor, React, or Angular (used in Microsoft environments).
3. Familiarity with CI/CD practices and Azure DevOps pipelines.
4. Knowledge of Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate) is a plus.
5. Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) in a Microsoft environment.
