Job summary

HelloSend in Thanjavur is seeking a motivated Junior Full-Stack Software Developer to join our engineering team. You will develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications across frontend and backend, taking ownership of tasks from requirements to deployment in an agile environment.

You will work with React.js on the frontend, Java Spring Boot on the backend, write end-to-end and integration tests with Cypress, and leverage AI tools to improve coding and documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Development: Build and maintain clean, efficient, and scalable features for both frontend (React.js) and backend (Java) systems.
• Ownership: Take end-to-end responsibility for assigned tasks, from requirement understanding and implementation to deployment and monitoring.
• Quality Assurance: Write robust end-to-end and integration tests using Cypress to ensure a high-quality user experience.
• AI-Enhanced Workflow: Actively utilize AI development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT) to assist in coding, debugging, documentation, and unit test generation.
• Cloud Operations: Participate in deploying and managing applications on AWS services.
• Collaboration: Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies to continuously improve our development standards.

Required Technical Skills

• Backend: Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot preferred).
• Testing: Experience with automated testing frameworks, specifically Cypress.
• Cloud: Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, or Lambda).
• Tools: Proven ability to integrate AI tools into the software development lifecycle to improve efficiency.
• Version Control: Proficiency in Git and collaborative workflows.
