Job summary

Brandacy is seeking a Junior SEO Executive to strengthen our off-page SEO efforts. You will build quality backlinks for Indian and international clients and collaborate with the SEO team to plan and execute strategies that boost domain authority, referring domains and organic rankings across geographies.

You will work remotely with a small, dedicated team, gaining hands-on experience in guest posting, outreach, and geo-targeted link building while reporting progress and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 0-1 year hands-on experience in off-page SEO or link building.
• Experience with both Indian and international client work.
• Familiarity with SEO tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz or Ubersuggest.
• Proficient in Google Sheets or Excel for tracking.
• Own laptop and reliable high-speed internet (remote work).

Responsibilities

• Build high-quality backlinks via guest posts, blog outreach, listings, profiles, media submissions, Q&A, and forums.
• Identify link opportunities using DA/DR, traffic, spam scores, and relevance.
• Lead email/LinkedIn outreach for posts and collaborations with Indian and global site owners.
• Coordinate geo-specific link building for Indian clients and US/UK/Canada/Australia markets.
• Maintain live link trackers with URLs, anchor text, DA/DR and status.
• Monitor backlinks and disavow toxic links.
• Coordinate with content writers on topics and briefs.
• Prepare reports of referring domains, indexed links and ranking changes.

About the role

We are looking for a Junior SEO Executive focused on link building and off-page SEO. You will build clean, quality backlinks for both Indian and international clients and work closely with our SEO team to plan and execute off-page strategies that improve domain authority, referring domains and organic rankings across geographies.

Key responsibilities

• Build high-quality, relevant backlinks through guest posting, blog outreach, business listings, classifieds, profile creation, image/video/PDF submissions, Q&A and forum participation
• Prospect and qualify link opportunities using DA/DR, traffic, spam score and topical relevance
• Run email and LinkedIn outreach for guest posts, link insertions and collaborations with Indian and global website owners
• Handle geo-specific link building: local citations and directories for Indian clients, and region-relevant sources for US, UK, Canada and Australia clients
• Maintain daily and weekly link trackers with live URLs, anchor text, DA/DR and status
• Monitor backlink profiles, identify toxic links and support disavow activity
• Coordinate with content writers for guest post topics and briefs
• Report on referring domains, indexed links and ranking movement

Required skills and experience

• 0-1 year of hands-on experience in off-page SEO or link building (internships and freelance projects count)
• Exposure to both Indian and international client work, or a clear understanding of how the two differ
• Working knowledge of Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Ubersuggest or similar (basic level is fine)
• Comfortable with Google Sheets or Excel for tracking and reporting
• Own laptop and a stable high-speed internet connection (mandatory for remote work)
