Job summary

Luxoft Germany in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design, develop and maintain automation frameworks using C#/.NET and Selenium. You will automate functional, regression and smoke tests, while also performing manual testing and API validations within a distributed Agile team.

You will integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with developers, BAs and product owners to clarify requirements and triage defects. Hybrid work in Bangalore is offered.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years in software testing (automation and manual)
• C#/.NET with OOP concepts
• Selenium WebDriver with C# bindings
• Experience with NUnit/MSTest/xUnit
• Experience using CI/CD in Azure DevOps or Jenkins
• API testing using Postman or RestSharp
• SQL basics for data validation
• Familiarity with JIRA/Azure DevOps for defect tracking

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automation test frameworks using C# and Selenium WebDriver.
• Create, execute and maintain automated scripts for functional, regression and smoke testing.
• Perform manual testing: functional, integration, system and UAT.
• Build automation solutions and apply Page Object Model and data-driven testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/Jenkins).
• Conduct API testing and coordinate with developers to clarify requirements.
• Identify, document and track defects in JIRA/Azure DevOps; review tests and code.
• Participate in sprint planning, standups and retrospectives; report progress.

QA engineering team supporting a long-running product line for an international manufacturing client. The team owns functional and regression coverage for web-based applications, maintains a C#/.NET Selenium automation framework, and runs automated suites as part of the CI/CD pipeline. Work is organised in Agile/Scrum with distributed teams; the engineer collaborates directly with developers, BAs and product owners on requirement clarification, test design and defect triage. Delivery is from Bangalore in a hybrid model.
