Job summary

Calderys is seeking a chemistry professional to support quality and QA activities in our refractory materials laboratory. You will monitor EHS compliance and ensure accuracy in testing of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products, while performing SAP data entry for test reports.

The role involves hands-on testing with XRF, CS Analyser, and other devices, supporting process control across shifts, and addressing quality complaints with rigor and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Chemistry with inorganic/analytical focus.
• 1–5 years in refractory/ceramics lab or related materials lab.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ASTM standards.
• Experience with QA documentation and reporting.
• SAP Data Entry (Test Reports) is desirable.

Responsibilities

Meeting the EHS protocols & regulatory norms in force

SAP Data Entry (Test Report)

Quality and Process control activities during Shift Operation

Testing of XRF, CS Analyser, BD, CCS , PLC, Thermal Conductivity, Flexural strength and other

specific tests for

refractory materials as applicable.

Handling Quality Complaints.

Requirements:

B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, preferably with specialization in Inorganic or Analytical Chemistry.

1–5 years of experience in a refractory, ceramics, or related materials lab.

Familiarity with ISO 9001, ASTM standards, and refractory material specifications.

Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and understanding of QA documentation.
