Job summary

Trintech India is actively seeking a Junior Product Owner to grow in a fast-paced product environment. You will collaborate with Product Owners, Engineering, and UX to translate ideas into well-defined work and customer value.

This role is ideal for someone early in their product career who is highly organized, curious, and motivated to develop strong product and Agile delivery skills. You will learn customer workflows and contribute to feature validation and updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Business, or related field is required.
• 0-2 years of experience in Product, Business Analysis, QA, or related role.
• Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in SaaS products and customer-centric thinking.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog.
• Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria with guidance from senior team members.
• Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily Agile ceremonies.
• Help track progress and ensure work is clearly understood by engineering.
• Learn customer workflows and pain points through research and internal collaboration.
• Support gathering and documenting user feedback.
• Assist in validating features and ensuring they meet user needs.
• Work closely with Engineering, QA, and UX to clarify requirements.
• Support internal teams with product-related questions.
• Help coordinate communication of new features and updates.
• Ensure user stories include clear, testable acceptance criteria.
• Participate in feature validation and user acceptance testing.

We’re looking for a Junior Product Owner who is eager to grow in a fast-paced product environment and learn how great products are built. You’ll work closely with Product Owners, Engineering, and UX to help translate product ideas into well-defined work that delivers real customer value. WHAT YOU WILL DO

Backlog & Delivery Support

• Assist in maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog.
• Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria with guidance from senior team members.
• Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily Agile ceremonies.

Customer & Product Understanding

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Engineering, QA, and UX to clarify requirements.
• Support internal teams (Customer Success, Support) with product-related questions.

Quality & Validation

• Ensure user stories include clear, testable acceptance criteria.
• Participate in feature validation and user acceptance testing.
• Help identify gaps or inconsistencies in delivered functionality.

WHO YOU ARE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in Product, Business Analysis, QA, or related role.
• Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in SaaS products and customer-centric thinking.

NICE TO HAVE

• Internship or project experience in product development.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.
• Exposure to finance or enterprise software domains.
