Role Overview

As a Junior Developer you will learn the nuts and bolts of web & mobile development and collaborate with technical and domain experts to gain 360° hands‑on experience of web technologies and the intricacies of Agile Development Methodology.

Job Description

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience
• Development experience with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript / jQuery, E‑commerce, Joomla or any other PHP framework such as CodeIgniter, Symfony, CakePHP, Zend, YII2, Laravel, etc.
• Worked on the following technologies and possess good working knowledge of the technologies below:
• REST API / SOAP integrations
• HTML, CSS and DOM
• Basic JavaScript & jQuery
• Ajax
• Debugging: IDE debugging / console debugging in JavaScript
• Knowledge of MVC structure in PHP – request flow, rendering & response, usage of OOP in MVC.
• Other general but important pointers:
• Familiarity with source control systems such as Git/SVN
• Knowledge of PostMan
• Adherence to coding standards
• Ability to think through functionality and write pseudo‑code before coding
• Experience with unit testing of code to ensure all requirements are covered
• Knowledge of developing highly structured and complex web applications
• Ability to work as a team member, listen to seniors and clients
• Readiness to meet challenges and tight deadlines
• Minimum 6 months experience in one of the following web applications:
• Content Management Systems such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, custom CMS
• Learning Management Systems such as Moodle
• E‑commerce systems such as Magento, PrestaShop, Zencart, custom e‑commerce
• Social media or corporate portals
