Job summary

RazaEngage seeks a Junior NOC Engineer - A2P Messaging for a fully remote role. You will monitor and maintain network operations, troubleshoot issues, ensure security, and support enterprise-level messaging solutions for clients worldwide.

The role requires 1–3 years in VOIP and A2P SMS, familiarity with SMPP, and the ability to provide 24x7 support. Bachelor’s in Engineering is required, with preference for experience at a leading A2P operator.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering.
• 1+ year experience in VOIP technologies and A2P SMS techs.
• Familiarity with SMPP, TCP/IP, and PCAP analysis.
• Experience at a leading A2P operator is a plus.
• Ability to deploy, manage, and troubleshoot network infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24x7x365 NOC support for VAS related issues.
• Manage day-to-day operations of SMS NOC including vendor/route config, tracing, and troubleshooting.
• Interconnect setup and testing with new clients.
• Prioritize alarms and incidents to meet KPIs.
• Capacity management and reporting for capacity breaches.
• Handle customer emails/calls with high service levels.
• Lead testing and configuration with clients; sponsor process improvements.

Role Description

This is a full-time, remote role for a Junior NOC Engineer - A2P Messaging. The NOC Engineer will monitor and maintain network operations, manage and troubleshoot technical issues, ensure network security, and provide technical support to clients. The professional will be engaged in proactive network maintenance, immediate issue resolution, and supporting enterprise-level communication and messaging solutions.

Job Responsibility:

• Experience on Horisen messaging platform would be preferred but not mandatory
• Provide 24X7X365 NOC Support for VAS related issues
• Manage day to day operations of SMS NOC Customer/Vendor/Route/Rate Configuration Management, Trace Capturing & Troubleshooting
• New clients interconnect and interconnection testing
• Ability to prioritize network alarms and incidents to fulfill KPI commitments.
• Capacity management and reporting in case of possible breach of capacity
• Answer customer emails/calls and provide timely & high level of service
• Head to Head testing/configuration with clients
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and sponsor introducing system changes to improve efficiency
• Management reporting as per requirement
• Maintain a good understanding of all NOC processes and implement them appropriately

Technical/Functional Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar field
• Minimum of 1 year experience in VOIP technologies, including familiarity with SIP and RTP protocols.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in A2P SMS technologies, including familiarity with SMPP and TCP/IP protocols and proficiency in PCAP analysis.
• Experience in working at a leading A2P operator would be an advantage
• Experience in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting network infrastructures
