Build real products from day one, ship full-stack features, and learn by working on live code that reaches users.

Role overview

Manthana.Ai is a product-first startup building AI-powered tools that run locally, privately, and fast. We are looking for an early-career builder who wants real exposure, not observation from the sidelines.

From your first week, you will contribute to active product codebases and learn how products are actually designed, built, deployed, and improved.

What you'll own

• Build and ship full-stack features across our product portfolio.
• Develop responsive, interactive interfaces in React and modern frontend tooling.
• Create and consume RESTful APIs and integrate them into product workflows.
• Push code through real GitHub and deployment pipelines and help debug production issues.
• Collaborate directly with the founding team on architecture and product direction.
• Use modern agentic coding workflows as part of day-to-day development.

Must-have qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js.
• Confidence building a CRUD application from scratch and understanding how the pieces fit together.
• Solid React fundamentals, including hooks, component architecture, and state management.
• Comfort with Tailwind or a comparable CSS workflow, with bonus points for Next.js experience.
• Good API instincts around endpoint structure, authentication, and external integrations.
• Daily Git fluency across branching, pull requests, and merge conflict resolution.
• Evidence that you finish things, whether through side projects, hackathons, freelance work, or open-source contributions.
• A self-starter mindset. You read docs, try things, break things, fix things, and ask thoughtful questions.

Preferred qualifications

• Exposure to agentic coding tools and AI-assisted development workflows.
• Familiarity with system design basics.
• Practical curiosity about large language models and how they fit into real products.
• Open-source contributions or public repos that show how you build.
