Own the stack, ship production features across AI products, and shape the product with the founding team.

Role overview

Manthana.Ai builds AI-native products that prioritize local-first processing, user privacy, and performance. Our portfolio spans desktop RAG experiences, compliance-first cybersecurity platforms, and enterprise web applications for customers across multiple industries.

This role is for a builder who wants ownership, not a narrow ticket queue. You will work across multiple products, move between frontend and backend contexts comfortably, and help turn ideas into shipped systems.

What you'll own

• Architect and deliver full-stack features end to end, from schema decisions to polished UI.
• Lead frontend implementation across product surfaces with a strong focus on performance, accessibility, and production readiness.
• Design and implement RESTful and real-time APIs that hold up in enterprise environments.
• Integrate AI workflows such as RAG pipelines, vector search, and local model-powered experiences.
• Own deployment and CI/CD flows across our infrastructure, Cloudflare, and containerized environments.
• Contribute directly to product and architecture decisions with the founding team.
• Mentor interns and junior engineers through reviews, pairing, and technical standards.
• Work with customers when enterprise projects need strong technical ownership.

Must-have qualifications

• 2+ years of professional full-stack development on production systems.
• Strong MERN experience, including schema design, API development, advanced React patterns, and practical Node.js engineering.
• Solid Next.js experience with App Router, API routes, SSR or SSG, middleware, and production deployment.
• Strong API design instincts across authentication, authorization, error handling, and third-party integrations.
• Comfort with both SQL and NoSQL data models, including production experience with MongoDB and working familiarity with PostgreSQL.
• Confidence with Git workflows, code reviews, Docker basics, CI/CD, and cloud deployment patterns.
• Good product sense. You think about users, outcomes, and why a feature matters before building it.

Preferred qualifications

• Production TypeScript experience in React and Node environments.
• Familiarity with Tauri or Electron for cross-platform desktop products.
• Working knowledge of Python and FastAPI.
• Understanding of embeddings, RAG architectures, and local AI model deployment.
• Experience with agentic coding workflows and practical LLM usage.
• Open-source contributions or strong public side projects.
