Ideal candidates have 0-2 years in garment merchandising, with freshers welcome if they completed textile/apparel internships. Proficiency in MS Excel and Tamil/English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years in garment merchandising – Freshers with textile/apparel internship ok.
• Diploma or Degree in Textile, Apparel, Fashion Tech or Designing preferred.
• Basic knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, trims & production process.
• Good in MS Excel, Word & email communication; English & Tamil must be used.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with buyers, production & factory for smooth order execution.
• Follow up on fabric, trims & accessories sourcing; ensure on-time delivery.
• Prepare cost sheets, tech packs, order sheets & merchandising docs.
• Daily production tracking & maintain quality standards.
• Communicate with vendors, suppliers & buyers for updates & approvals.
• Assist Senior Merchandiser in sampling, costing & shipment documentation.
• Maintain records of orders, shipments & buyer communications in Excel.
• Factory visits for sample checking & production follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with buyers, production & factory for smooth order execution

• Follow up on fabric, trims & accessories sourcing – Ensure on-time delivery
• Prepare cost sheets, tech packs, order sheets & merchandising docs
• Daily production tracking & maintain quality standards
• Communicate with vendors, suppliers & buyers for updates & approvals
• Assist Senior Merchandiser in sampling, costing & shipment documentation
• Maintain records of orders, shipments & buyer communications in Excel
• Factory visits for sample checking & production follow-up

Must Have:
