Job summary

IGP is seeking a Software Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable back-end applications using Java, Spring, and MySQL. You will deploy microservices-based architectures on AWS and contribute to RESTful APIs in an Agile environment.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of hands-on Java development, cloud-native deployment experience on AWS, and a strong focus on clean architecture and testable code with JUnit/Mockito.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on back-end development using Java, Spring, and MySQL.
• Experience designing microservices-based architectures and cloud-native AWS deployments.

We are looking for a Software Developer with 2 to 3 years of hands‑on experience building scalable back‑end applications using Java, Spring, and MySQL. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain microservices‑based architectures and deploy cloud‑native applications on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance back‑end applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code following clean architecture and OOP best practices.
• Design, optimize, and manage relational databases using MySQL, writing complex queries, indexes, and stored procedures.
• Build, deploy, and maintain Microservices and RESTful APIs with efficient inter-service communication.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS using core services like EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Frontend, DevOps, Product) in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Implement automated testing (JUnit, Mockito) to ensure code quality and system reliability.

Required Technical Skills

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to message brokers like SQS.
