Job summary

TappAV is seeking a skilled CAD/3D visualization designer in Maharashtra to translate AV design concepts into precise floor plans and 3D renderings for private home cinemas and media rooms.

You will plot accurate speaker locations, projector throw distances, and lighting layouts, collaborating with project engineers. Proficiency in AutoCAD and visualization tools is required; experience with SketchUp/3ds Max preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in CAD-based 2D floor plans and elevations.
• Ability to plot speaker cut-outs and projector throw distances per guidelines.
• Draft detailed conduit runs and electrical layouts.
• Proficiency in creating photorealistic 3D visualizations for rooms.
• Knowledge of lighting simulation for ambient, task, and accent lighting.

Job description

• Spatial Planning: Prepare precise 2D AutoCAD floor plans, elevation views, and reflector ceiling plans (RCP) for private home cinemas, media rooms, and Hi-Fi listening lounges.


• AV & Acoustic Integration: Plot exact coordinates for speaker cut-outs (Dolby Atmos ceiling and surround placements), projector throw distances, motorized screen casings, and acoustic paneling layouts based on technical engineering guidelines.


• Conduit & Electrical Marking: Draft detailed conduit runs, power socket placements, low-voltage cabling pathways, and equipment rack layouts in collaboration with project engineers.


• 3D Photorealistic Modeling: Create detailed 3D models using SketchUp or 3ds Max, rendered with V-Ray, Corona, or Lumion, showing complete room aesthetics (seating, wall paneling, stretch ceilings, and lighting setups).


• Material & Lighting Simulation: Render realistic lighting scenes showing ambient, task, and accent LED strip effects (e.g., star ceilings, cove lighting, backlit acoustic panels, step lights).
